Can you pay for your charecter diners and other special things in advance?

    Hi Amy,

There are a number of ways you can pay for your meals in advance of your arrival at Walt Disney World.  If you are eligible for and choose to participate in the Disney Dining Plan, you will be asked to pay for that plan at least 48 hours before your check-in date.  Then, instead of paying cash or using other means to pay for your character meal, you can simply present your Key to the World card (room key) to pay using a credit from the Disney Dining Plan.

Another option is to call your reservation specialist in advance of your arrival to place a set sum of money on your room account as a credit from which you can draw during your stay.  Meals and activities can be paid, then, from your room account.

Finally, you can purchase Disney, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express pre-paid gift cards.  These can be used to pay for meals throughout Walt Disney World property.

So yes, Amy, you can pay for a variety of meals and activities at Walt Disney World in advance.  Thank you for your question.
