Hi, Jeffrey!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for visiting us with your question about dining at the
Disneyland Resort. I hope you’re looking forward to visiting the Happiest Place on Earth!
The resort does require a credit card to make a
dining reservation, but in most cases it is used only as a placeholder, meaning that you won’t be charged before you dine unless you miss your reservation or don’t cancel within the restaurant’s allowed cancellation period. There are some special dining events that require a prepayment obligation, but
Character Dining experiences usually don’t require payment until you arrive and enjoy your meal. Disneyland Resort dining reservations are highly recommended available up to 60 days in advance at select restaurants. Reservations can be made online or by calling (714) 781-3463.
I hope this information helps you plan, Jeffrey. Please visit again with any other questions you can dream of as your vacation draws near!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
