    Can you pay by cash at restaurants throughout the parks. My friend is joining us for our second week off site and therefore won’t have a magic band so we wanted to know if this was possible

    Hi Sarah! How excited are you to know you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in 4 short days? Yay!!!

    I love that your friend is joining you on your holiday! Great news! Guests can use cash for payment in the restaurants. There are a few areas in the theme parks where cash is not accepted but that is because certain Cast Members do not have cash with them. (For instance, on one of our visits we were not able to purchase a balloon with cash.) For the most part, though, cash is accepted throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

    There are so many amazing dining options! Make sure you take advantage of the new Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering! Avoid the lines and order from anywhere using your My Disney Experience mobile app. Select quick service locations are participating in mobile ordering! It's a great way to maximize your time in the theme parks! Plus - your friend can use a credit card and use mobile ordering as well!
