Can I pay cash for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom at the boardwalk and use my points for 5 nights?

    Hi Marjorie,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I love Disney's BoardWalk Villas.  It is my home resort with Disney Vacation Club.  I love the hustle and bustle of Disney's BoardWalk, and the quick walking distance to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios is so convenient.

In order to pay for a vacation using both Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points as well as a traditional payment method such as a credit card or cash, you will need to split your stay into two separate reservations.  You cannot use both Vacation Points and a traditional payment method such as credit card or cash on the same reservation.  The good news is that you can make both reservations through Disney Vacation Club.  I suggest that you call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 and explain what you want to do. They will be able to help you to book not only the reservation using Vacation Points, but also the reservation using the traditional payment method such as credit card or cash.  Then, ask the cast member to put a comment on the reservation requesting that you be allowed to stay in the same villa for both reservations.  Please know that this is only a request and not a guarantee, and that Disney will do their best to honor the request, but it is not guaranteed.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Marjorie.  Have a great time planning your magical vacation to Disney's BoardWalk Villas, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
