Hiya Ardith, and welcome to planDisney.
One of the things I love most about a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just how easy Disney makes the entire planning process. From offering Disney Resort hotels that fit every vacation style and budget to providing two
Disney Dining Plan options so you can relax knowing your meals and snacks are already covered, Disney really does take the stress out of planning. You can even make many of your vacation decisions well before you arrive, so once you’re here, you can focus on simply enjoying your time in the parks.
When you book a Disney vacation package that includes a
Disney Resort hotel and theme park tickets, you’ll have the flexibility to pay a deposit up front and then make payments toward your balance whenever it’s convenient for you. Just be sure your balance is paid in full at least 30 days before your arrival. Pretty convenient, right?
To make a payment, log in to your
Disney account on the Walt Disney World website, hover over “My Disney Experience,” and select “My Plans.” Once there, scroll to your reservation details. If your booking was made directly with Disney, you’ll see an option to “Make a Payment.” Simply follow the prompts to pay the amount you’d like. If you don’t see that option, it may mean your reservation was made through a travel professional, in which case you’ll need to reach out to them directly to process your payment. When in doubt, you can head to the
Disney Help Center and contact the Tickets & Hotel Reservations line to speak to a Cast Member for additional assistance.
Ardith, once your balance is squared away, I’d suggest spending some time exploring the
planDisney video library or the
Vacation Planning page on the Walt Disney World website to get ideas for where to eat, which parks to visit first, and what experiences to prioritize. If you’d like a few personalized recommendations for your stay, whether that’s dining ideas, park strategies, or questions about Lightning Lanes,
send me another question and I’d be happy to help you fine-tune your plans.
See you real soon,
Brent
