Hi there, Dahyana! Is there anything better than snacking your way through a Disneyland day? Sometimes I'll skip a meal just so I can fit in more snacks, so you've got the right idea!
When it comes to payment, I also love how easy it is to just take out my phone and wave it like a magic wand to pull up my wallet and Apple Pay. While there are many merchandise and
quick-service locations that allow for tap payment, not all food carts have this capability. I wish I could wave my own magic wand to send you an exact list, but alas, as the food carts can change out periodically, there is no record of which do and do not accept this type of payment. I recommend asking the Cast Member before ordering. They are always happy to help!
Another option would be to use Apple Pay through the
Disneyland Mobile App and
Mobile Order for quick meals and snacks on the go. While there will be some quick-service locations that do not have Mobile Order, there are SO many that do. When you place your order and reach the check-out page, you will see the option to "Check out with Apple Pay" instead of using the credit card you have on file. I have done this a few times myself! You can check out the locations that are available for Mobile Order by opening the app and tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar. Select "Order Food" and it will immediately give you a list of restaurants sorted by location -
Disneyland Park,
Disney California Adventure Park,
Downtown Disney District, and the
Disneyland Resort Hotels.
You can order full meals or sweets and treats! I love mobile ordering from the
Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square. Place the order just as you're about to board
Pirates of the Caribbean or take a spin through the
Haunted Mansion and have piping hot Mickey beignets waiting for you as you walk out! Don't forget to shake the bag to make sure they are fully covered in that powdered sugar. YUM.
Dahyana, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the
Disney Parks Blog as they love to release a Foodie Guide for any upcoming special events. I bet we will see one towards the end of the summer for
Halloween Time which kicks off on September 2nd! You'll be able to pick out some must-try treats before you head into the parks!
