Can I pay 1 annual pass for adult and purchase as needed tickets through out the year for my spouse and children?

Hi, Mary! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's help you plan some magical Disney days for your whole family at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Mary, one of the great things about Disney tickets and passes is the fact that you can tailor them to your family's needs. My family lives in Florida and we have a mix of different levels of Florida Resident Annual Passes. Our passes fit the way we visit the Theme Parks and offer us additional benefits that we enjoy.

You can certainly buy an Annual Pass for yourself and individual tickets for your family as you plan trips during the year if that's most convenient for you. It's an especially great idea when you consider that your Annual Pass will entitle you to Passholder benefits like discounts on dining and merchandise, special rates on Resort hotel stays, and free Disney PhotoPass downloads. I say go for it!

Mary, if you do buy tickets for the family and then decide you'd like to get Annual Passes for them as well, you can upgrade your tickets by visiting Guest Relations. Just note that if you want to upgrade, you may need to do so within 14 days of the ticket's first use. A Guest Relations Cast Member can walk you through your options if you'd like to find out more.

I hope this helps you plan a magical year of Disney days, Mary. Please do come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
