Hi Susan!
Dining at Disney World is an adventure for your taste buds, where every meal feels like a magical celebration! From Mickey-shaped treats to themed restaurants, every bite is a delicious part of your Disney story. Whether you're indulging in a royal feast with princesses or grabbing a quick bite the dining experiences are just as magical as the attractions!
Many parents find that the children's menu offers ample food for their younger kids. Disney's children's meals are designed to be satisfying and nutritionally balanced, and they often include kid-friendly options that appeal to younger tastes.
When you purchase a
Disney Dining Plan for your vacation, the prices and meal options are determined by the ages of the guests. For children aged 3-9, Disney offers a reduced price for the Disney Dining Plans, reflecting their smaller portion sizes and different meal options. If your children are listed with their actual ages (4 and 8), you will automatically be charged the children's price for the dining plan and they then will order from the children’s menu.
It is my understanding that if you prefer that your children order from the adult menu, the children would have to be listed as 10 years old or older in your
My Disney Experience account. This means you will pay the adult price for the dining plan for your children, which is higher than the children's price. This also means that they will be charged the adult prices for anything else included in your vacation package, such as
Theme Park Tickets.
When booking your vacation, if you need additional assistance with your reservation, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort directly via phone for personalized assistance and to discuss any specific requests or adjustments.
Wishing you and your family a magical time!
