Hi there, Ruby, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
First off, congratulations on your pregnancy! Before you know it, you’ll be embarking on adventures with your little Mouseketeer at the
Happiest Place on Earth!
I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that currently,
Annual Passholders aren’t able to pause their membership during pregnancy. Apparently this was an option in the past, but unfortunately, it’s not being offered at this time. However, I’m happy to report that there are still plenty of opportunities for pregnant mothers visiting the Disneyland Resort! I visited the parks during all three of my pregnancies, and I loved the opportunity to be able to get fresh air, stay active, watch my favorite parades and shows, and of course, indulge in churros!
To help you determine which attractions are safe for you during pregnancy, head over to the
“Attractions” page and filter it by “Accessibility & Advisories” and then select “Expectant Mothers Advisory.” The
resulting list will show you which attractions you’ll want to avoid during pregnancy, including most thrill rides such as Hyperspace Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Incredicoaster. Luckily, excluding the attractions on this list, that leaves you with tons of fun options, including some of my pregnancy favorites, such as “it’s a small world,” Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Disneyland Railroad, and Pirates of the Caribbean. And that’s not to mention fun experiences such as Mickey's PhilharMagic, Animation Academy, and Turtle Talk with Crush!
Once baby arrives, be sure to check out the
Baby Care Centers, available in both parks. In Disneyland Park, the Center is located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and in Disney California Adventure Park, it's located on Pacific Wharf. These Centers are the perfect spot to change, feed, and nurse babies in a comfortable environment. Plus, you can purchase any baby necessities you may have forgotten.
Should you have any other questions about your Annual Passport, you’re welcome to call the Annual Passholder line at (714) 781-PASS, or (714) 781-7277. Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the many Passholder
benefits and
discounts that come along with your membership!
Last but not least, check out this adorable
Mouseketeer Ear Hat... what a perfect way to start baby's collection!
Wishing you a healthy, pixie-dusted pregnancy, and happy Disney days ahead!
