Are patrons allowed to have a fanny pack or small purse on the rides? May we carry our own bottled water and sunscreen, snacks, etc?

    Hi Rochelle! Welcome to planDisney!

You are only days away from your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Before you know it, you’ll be making memories as you wave to Characters, experience attractions, and taste delicious treats. I’m so excited for you!

I’m happy to tell you that you are welcome to bring your purse or fanny pack with you on attractions. My family always brings a backpack with us and it also goes with us on all attractions and sits at our feet. Depending on how small your bag is, you may be able to fit it in the small pouches that some rides have for holding personal items. Either way, you will keep it with you the whole time!

As for snacks, water, and sunscreen, that’s another great big, “Yes!” In fact, I recommend bringing all three because my family does the same! That's why we use a backpack for all our gear. We also bring in ponchos and handheld fans. Check out the must-haves that my fellow planDisney panelists pack to spark ideas for your packing list and take a look at the Park Rules for all prohibited items.

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Rochelle! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
