Is the path between HS and Beach Club open all night for walk back to resort after EMH? Also, can you enter Epcot through back entrance from Beach Club even if World Showcase isn't open yet? Finally, what time do monorails start running? Thx so much!

Hi Melanie! These are great questions concerning the Boardwalk area that many guests are not sure about. First of all you can walk back from the Hollywood Studios park after the Extra Magic Hours on the paved and lighted path to the Boardwalk, Yacht, and Beach Club resorts. It is about a mile trek from the Yacht Club marina and it follows the waterway. Please also remember that the Friendship boats will also be running after the late hours so you might consider taking the boat. My family loves walking to the park but after a full day or evening doing all the great attractions we enjoy the rest on the boats back to our resort.

The International Gateway entrance to Epcot is also available for all guests to use to head into the Future World part of Epcot even if the World Showcase is not open.  Guests will be directed through the United Kingdom area and on to Future World. You will also be able to visit the France Pavilion before hours as the bakery is open for breakfast. All other shops and attractions are closed until 11am when the World Showcase officially opens.

The resort monorail will begin running the circle at the Magic Kingdom around 6:30am. The one used to transport guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center will run about an hour before park opening and that is also the case for the Epcot monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center. Buses follow the same rule...will begin running an hour before a park opening time whether it is a normal opening or an Extra Magic Hour opening time.

Hope this helps with your planning!
