what is a PAT? I keep hearing people say that. and I arrive in Orlando at 9:30am taking the magic bus but when I checked-in today on line it asked arrival time and I could only take 12pm anything else wouldn't let me check off ...whats it for?

Ahoy Diane! (love the name) ;-)

PAT refers to your Port Arrival Time. Guests are asked to choose an estimated Port Arrival Time when they complete their online check-in. This system is in place to spread guests' arrivals over several hours on the morning of embarkation. Guests will have a smoother check-in experience and shorter wait times because the terminal won't be packed with all the guests arriving at once. When sailing from Port Canaveral, arrival times will be spread from 10:00am through around 3:30pm in half hour increments. Actual boarding of the ship begins around 11:00am, or could begin as late as noon.

If you arrive at the port before your scheduled Port Arrival Time, you might have to wait just a bit before entering the terminal. However, on a few of our past cruises, when we got there a bit early, we were allowed in. It's really determined by how crowded the Port Terminal is upon your arrival. With your flight landing in Orlando at 9:30, you should arrive at the port between 11:00 and noon, so your wait shouldn't be long at all. Using Disney's ground transportation provides a seamless transition from land to sea. You'll enjoy video presentations during the ride that showcase all there is to see and do on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. It helps to build excitement for all the fun there is to come!

I hope this helps answer your question. I hope you have a most magical voyage with Captain Mickey!
