Hiya Doug!
Welcome again to planDisney! Lovely to see you here again! I can't believe Easter is almost here! You have reminded me that I am behind on all my planning.
Easter Sunday usually means a special Easter Procession featuring Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in
Magic Kingdom Park. It is usually held a bit before the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade but if you are in the Park that day you should always check the
Hours & Events Calendar. It's currently not posted now but I'm hoping it will be as the date approaches. There is a good chance it will be happening so make sure to arrive early as the Park may easily hit capacity on this day.
You mentioned Daisy Duck in her beautiful hoop dress with all the ruffles and the women behind her. Fun Fact Doug, those are not Cast Members! They are the Azalea Trail Maids from Mobile, Alabama. The Azalea Trail Maids are goodwill ambassadors for their hometown. It was a tradition for them to attend every Easter parade but we have not seen them for a few years sadly. Don't fret my friend, the Easter Procession or cavalcade, which is not a full parade, will have plenty of characters and springtime color and fun.
Don't forget that there is usually a chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny up close near City Hall that weekend! It's super rare and always a popular event. While near Magic Kingdom Park, don't forget to check out the Easter Egg display at the
Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. They are usually made of chocolate and are beautifully decorated. Sometimes you can even submit votes as to which one is the best!
I hope you have a fun time "hopping" into Spring at Walt Disney World Resort!
Happy Planning!
