    Hi Donald,

Welcome to the Moms Panel and a very Happy Anniversary to those celebrating in your travel party! This question was a delight to see and a great one, indeed. Although you've reached the gal with personal experience performing in Disney Parades, I can attest the selection process for Grand Marshal is completely random and all about the right place at the right time! I wish I were able to provide you the "inside scoop" but truthfully, Disney often strives to keep guests on their toes with sprinkling Pixie Dust on the most unsuspecting families!

I will, however, suggest the Move It! Shake it! Celebrate it! Street Party through Magic Kingdom, offering guests a unique interacting experience and the ability to shout out your reason for celebration! Check the Times Guide at the front entrance of Magic Kingdom for specific show times.

Although there is no guarantee, my only suggestion for Grand Marshal selection would be to arrive early at "rope drop" and attempt to catch the eye of the Cast Members with enthusiasm and gusto!

I wish you a MAGICAL trip, Donald, and I'll leave you with a link for additional Anniversary ideas to celebrate at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Visit us again and we hope to see ya real soon!
