The past two years we have stayed at the Pop Century and All Star music resorts. We were trying to decide to go back to one of these two or a new value resort. Where all the All Star resorts built at the same time or is one older than the others.

    Hi Steve!

My son and I just love the Value Resorts at Walt Disney World!  They are such a great value (literally) and you still get all the experience and benefits of staying on property.  We have stayed at all of the Value Resorts except All Star Music so I am very experienced at the ins and out of staying there.

So here is a breakdown of when each Value Resort was opened to the public:

All Star Sports - Opened in April 1994
All Star Music - Opened in Nov. 1994
All Star Movies - Opened in Jan. 1999
Pop Century - Opened in Dec. 2003

So by staying in Pop Century, you stayed in the newest and largest of the Value Resorts.  Disney periodically renovates all of it's rooms in all of it's Resorts. Disney also really pays attention to the Resort maintenance and upkeep so guests will never experience an unkept or rundown Resort, no matter how long it has been open.  It has been my experience that all of the Value Resorts are very similar except for different themes and different shaped pools.  I am sure that you will be happy in any Value Resort that you choose and you will be saving money as well!

I wish you a very magical stay in a Value Resort on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
