    In the past I know there was Shop Disney Parks where you could scan a product from a Disney world park and you could see where else it was located throughout Disney World. Is this a feature on the Disney World Experience app now?

    Souvenirs in the parks are a must for our family as well as so many others. There are so many things throughout the parks that you never knew you needed but are the quintessential piece that captures your vacation. As a Girldad of 3, there have been plenty of times that we wanted to get a particular item in a different size or just were looking for a specific thing that we needed some help with. I will be happy to let you know about our recent experiences to help you navigate yours during your upcoming vacation. 

    As you mentioned Erin, in the past you were able to scan a barcode of an item to see where in the parks it was available as well as to search for a particular size. Unfortunately, this option is no longer available. On a recent trip, we needed a specific size for a shirt and needed to talk with a Cast Member about it. They were able to search their inventory but also recommended where we might find similar items. They were cautious about telling us where else the product was available and did not offer any specifics. We did end up finding the item where we were suggested to look. Not all experiences are created equally, so if you do find yourself needing a particular item or size, don't be afraid to talk with a Cast Member about the item or any specifics. They may be able to give you more information depending on the item. 

    One new thing that is super handy when shopping in Walt Disney World is Merchandise Mobile Checkout available on your My Disney Experience app in the parks. At select locations, you will have the ability to make your purchase right from your My Disney Experience app. After you scan all of your selections and pay for your purchase you will be given a QR code to present to Cast Members at the door which will verify your purchase and then be on your way! This can help save some time depending on how busy the lines are.
