In the past, my family has stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. Unfortunately due to Covid, our resort isn’t open We will be trying a value resort (all Star movie resort) for the first time. Can anyone give me first-hand impressions of this resort?

    Hey Howdy Meg!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney today. I’m thrilled to hEAR that you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Yee-Haw!

I’ll be more than happy to help you plan for this Rootin’-Tootin’ visit as I have had the chance to stay at both, Disney’s Port Orleans-French Quarter Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

As a mom of two Mouseketeers myself, I have found that my little ones love to be submerged in all things, Disney. The theme at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort does just that! My little ones loved spending their nights in Andy’s room in the Toy Story section. To this day, they still talk about walking through Andy’s door! Since you do favor a Moderate resort, I recommend upgrading your room at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort to a preferred room. A preferred room may include; a pool view, shorter distance to transportation, and closer to the World Premiere Food Court. After a long day in the parks, it’s nice to be a little bit closer to the main building.

Meg, I’m sure you will find a new love for this resort. It’s one of my family’s favorite resorts! If you have the time, I highly recommend taking a stroll through your resort. It’s fun to see the larger-than-life Characters spread across the resort. Plus, it’s nice to experience all the details all around you that make you feel like you are a part of your very own Disney movie.

Enjoy this new adventure, deputy! Let us know if you have any other questions, we’re all EARs!

One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
