In the past we always stayed @ CS standard room. I know preferred at cs are convenient 4 convention goers. This x booked POR preferred room, which is a 1st for me. Has anyone stayed in this section of POR @ enjoyed it? Not been to POR since 1998.

    Hi Michelle!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside offers great value for a relaxing and comfortable Disney vacation.
Featuring two sections, Alligator Bayou and Magnolia Bend, you can choose from 3 different theme rooms at this resort.

Magnolia Bend features white mansions with elegant decorations, while the Alligator Bayou rooms feature a wood's like theme and a pull down-bunk size bed featuring Louis the Alligator.

Royal Guest Rooms features princes like theme, decorations and surprises.  These rooms are located at the Magnolia Bend.

All three rooms have the same room space and amenities.

There are preferred rooms at either section and the Royal Guest Rooms are located conveniently close to the main building and pool.

Some preferred rooms are located near walkways that may be noisy at certain times of the day/night.

I have stayed at rooms far from the main building and walking to the pool and restaurants was less than 5 minutes.  My room was located close to a bus stop and a laundry room.

Port Orleans Riverside landscape really helps setting a relax mood when arriving tired from the parks.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
