Hi there, Carolina! Welcome to planDisney!
A
Baja cruise from San Diego is an absolute dream! It remains one of my most memorable Disney cruises because of the perfect
San Diego weather upon embarkation and debarkation, as well as that picturesque Mexican coastline! As you prepare for your cruise, I would love to help you by sharing the travel documentation that will be required.
As this is a Round-Trip cruise to and from San Diego in the United States, the following travel documentation is accepted for US Citizens:
- Original valid US passport or
- Original valid US passport card or
- Original valid Trusted Traveler Card (NEXUS, FAST) or
- Original state-issued birth certificate AND a physical government-issued photo ID
- Original Certificate of Naturalization issued by US Citizenship and Immigration Services AND a physical government-issued photo ID
SENTRI cards are not listed as an acceptable form of citizenship documentation. I contacted Disney Cruise Line, and it was verified that SENTRI cards are not accepted, but only the forms of documentation listed above are.
I advise you to review the
Passport and Travel Documentation Guidelines carefully before your Online Check-In so that you’re up to date on the documents required for check-in.
While we’re on the topic of Online Check-In, I’ll also give you some tips when completing it. You can find your Online Check-In date in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, under your reservation information. When it’s time to complete it, you may do so either on the Disney Cruise Line website or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. My biggest piece of advice is to have all your documents ready so you can complete them quickly, without having to roam around and grab them. You will need your
citizenship documentation, guest photos from the neck up, pre- and post-travel information,
payment information to be used on board your cruise (credit card information, etc.), as well as any information for
Youth Clubs if you have younger guests sailing with you.
Carolina, I hope I was able to offer clarification. I wish you the most MAGICal memories on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
Bon Voyage,
Rana
