Ahoy, Addie and thanks for sailing on over to planDisney with your question!
Addie, I'm so excited to hear that you'll be hopping aboard
Disney Cruise Line in just a few months! I know that my family and I are counting down the days until we can set sail on the
Disney Dream this fall.
Now, in order to enjoy all there is to see and do on board, let's talk about the
necessary documentation to make embarkation seamless. Currently, if your children are U.S. Citizens
and 15 years old or younger they may use one of the following in lieu of a passport:
- an original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate
- original Consular Report of Birth Abroad issued by the Department of State
- original Certificate of Naturalization issued by US Citizenship and Immigration Services
Addie, please note that if your children are 16 years or older they will also need a Government-issued photo ID in addition to the list above. Please take a look at
THIS LINK that provides additional information for ports outside of the U.S. and directions for non-U.S. Citizens.
I'll be wishing on a star that you have a pixie-dusted sailing. If you have any questions, just point your compass in the direction of planDisney where we are always happy to chart a course to answers for you!
Lauren
