Can I use my passport and a UK post office PASS card as ID for buying alcoholic beverages on site? I don’t have a drivers license. Or would a provisional license work instead?

Hi there, Amy! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m so happy to see that you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World later this year. How exciting! Did you know that you’ll be there for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? If you couldn’t tell from the name, this festival is all about incredible culinary creations and delicious drinks inspired by destinations all over the globe. Be sure to come hungry because you won't want to miss the food from the outdoor kitchens. I usually recommend skipping a sit-down dinner and instead try a few things from the festival. You won’t regret it!

So, let’s talk about ID so you can be on your way to enjoying some fabulous cocktails. It looks as though, for residents outside of the United States, both a valid passport as well as another form of government-issued photo ID from your country of origin is required to purchase an alcoholic beverage. I did a little research, and it does look as though the PASS card is an accepted form of ID in most situations, so that should work. However, I would recommend reaching out to Walt Disney World Guest Relations before leaving on your trip just to be sure! You can email them directly via the help center, which I’ve linked HERE for you.

While you’re in EPCOT, I definitely recommend picking the Violet Sake from Garden House at the Japan Pavillion. I’m not much of a drinker, but this one really is delicious. It’s so different from anything you’ve ever tried before and is super refreshing on a hot day in the parks. I think you’ll really like it!

I do hope this answer has been helpful to you, Amy! If you have any other questions as you wrap up the planning of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please stop back over to planDisney! We would love to help you make the absolute most of your vacation!

    See you real soon,
