my passport will expire January 2, 2017 My cruise returns back in Galveston on December 30, 2016. I know some countries require that your passport must be good for an additional six months past your return date. Is this the case with this cruise? Thanks

    Ahoy Rebecca –
Thanks for sailing in to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Looks like you are planning ahead for your fabulous cruise on the Wonder this winter. I must admit that when it comes to the passport questions I get a little confused too. I exercise an overabundance of caution and renew the passports for my family before the 6- month deadline simply because we do fly into other countries frequently, and I do not want to risk getting stuck there! I called my friends at Disney Cruise Line about your dates and since your passport is still valid upon your return, it should be fine as long as you are a U.S. citizen. Guests who hold citizenship with countries outside of the United States should check with their Consulate to find out if there are any additional requirements. Please feel free to check back with us if you have further questions, Rebecca!
