Hello, Mike! I am always happy to meet another out-of-state Annual Passholder at planDisney. What's a few miles to get to the Most Magical Place on Earth? I can go the distance.
If you're dreaming of a far off place, where a hero's welcome would be waiting for you, Walt Disney World Resort calls.
As you know, as an Annual Passholder, you need a
theme park reservation to visit one of Walt Disney World Resort's four theme parks. There are some nuances and exceptions so I am glad you stopped by with this question.
You can easily
make theme park reservations online. I encourage you to make reservations as soon as you know you are heading right where you belong.
With your annual pass, you can enter a theme park after 2 p.m. without a reservation, except
Magic Kingdom Park on the weekend. Currently, this is the only theme park reservation blackout period. To visit Cinderella Castle on Saturday or Sunday, you have two options: you need a reservation for the Magic Kingdom, or you can have a reservation to another theme park and use the
Park Hopper benefit to go to the Magic Kingdom after you have visited the park for which you have a reservation.
In your question about the Magic Kingdom on a Wednesday, if the park has not reached capacity, you should be able to go after 2 p.m. You could also get a reservation for another theme park and head to the Magic Kingdom after enjoying the first park.
There are also Good-to-Go days, which are days on which Passholders can visit a theme park without a reservation. You can find these dates on the
Theme Park Admissions Calendar and on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. These dates are announced throughout the year, usually a few weeks ahead of time.
Of course, all of these are limited to the days your Annual Pass allows you to access the theme parks and the parks' capacity.
If you have any other questions, please race back by
planDisney. We'll go the distance to help you make your journey complete.
Every Mile is Worth Your While!
