Hi! Passholder here! Quick question about room only reservations. When booking online, is the deposit due at time of booking or is there a 3 day grace period? Our trip isn’t for another 46 days and we’re booking this week. Thanks!

    Hi Nicole,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your next Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it!

As a Florida Resident passholder, I hope you take advantage of frequent opportunities to visit the theme parks and resorts. My family just returned from a weekend at Pop Century, where we soared to the Epcot International Festival of the Arts aboard the Disney Skyliner. I'm ready to start planning our next weekend getaway right now!

When you make a room-only reservation online, you will be charged a deposit equal to one night's lodging at the time of booking. Once you have your room reserved, you will be able to complete online check-in, which allows you to skip the front desk. The resort will send you an email or text with your room number when the room is ready.

As a passholder, I'm sure you have used your MagicBand as your room key. But did you know you also can unlock your door with the My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone?

And, of course, as soon as your room is booked, you will want to use My Disney Experience to start making FastPass+ reservations for your family's favorite rides and attractions.

Please check back, Nicole, if you have questions about any of the resorts or want our thoughts on which value, moderate or deluxe accommodations are our favorites. Enjoy!
