Hi Cristie!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question! It’s always a delight to help a fellow Annual Passholder dream up their next magical escape to Walt Disney World Resort! January is such a great time to visit, too! With cooler weather, lighter crowds after the holidays, and plenty of pixie-dusted perks for Passholders like you, I can’t think of a better place to kick off the yEAR!
While Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t officially released the full list of Annual Passholder room discounts for January 2026, historically, these offers tend to drop 3–5 months in advance of the travel window. For example, early 2025 Passholder rates were announced around October 2024, so I’d keep a close eye on the
Special Offers page and your Passholder email inbox this fall.
That said, here’s some exciting news! There is already one special offer you can take advantage of for 2026: the
Kids (Ages 3 to 9) Play & Dine for Free in 2026 offer. And yes, it’s absolutely valid for Annual Passholders, as long as your reservation includes:
- A stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel
- A dining plan added for each adult (ages 10 and up)
So, if you can check those requirements, and if your kiddos are between the ages of 3 and 9, they’d receive a free dining plan, which is an incredible value! Just keep in mind that if you’re booking online as a Passholder, a ticket purchase may be required to qualify. I recommend
calling the Disney Reservation Center to explore your options and clarify how this can work with your Passholder status.
Pro tip: If you’re not quite ready to book, you can still go ahead and make a room-only reservation for now to lock in your preferred resort and dates. If a new Passholder discount becomes available later, you can modify your reservation or call and request to have the offer applied (pending availability, of course!).
I hope this helps you plan a truly magical start to 2026! If you need help choosing a resort, picking the
perfect dining plan, or finding out what’s new in the parks next January, I’d love to help.
See ya real soon,
Emille
