Hey there, Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney!
First, it’s awesome that you already have your theme park tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Like my friend Princess Tiana says, you’re “almost there!” Let’s get into the nitty gritty about what you and your party needs to get into the theme parks.
If you have your theme park tickets linked to your account already, the odds are you won’t need to show anyone’s identification to a Cast Member upon arrival. However, if you purchased your tickets online and selected that you will pick up your tickets at Will Call or if you received special pricing due to
Florida residency or
military affiliation, you may be asked to show identification as the person who purchased the tickets.
As you can see, your child, as both a minor and as a person who is not the primary party member, will not need to provide identification. My own two children have had
annual passes for Walt Disney World for many years and I have never been asked to provide their ID cards.
My biggest piece of advice is for you to have your confirmation number and personal identification card ready to go in case you need it to prove your purchase. Especially because you already have your tickets linked, you can simply take your party to the Mickey-shaped entry points, scan, and go about enjoying your day of magical moments.
Stephanie, if you have additional questions about your upcoming vacations to Walt Disney World and beyond, give us a holler here at planDisney.
I’m all ears!Magic always,
LeAndra
