Ahoy there, Jonathan! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for swimming our way with your question.
Most of my Disney Cruise itineraries have taken me to sunny locations where I enjoy lots of time in the sand, surf, and sun. It's important to pack your sunscreen and stay hydrated! Luckily, Disney Cruise Line makes it easy. You are more than welcome to bring bottled water with you on board. It must be unopened and packed in your carry-on luggage only. You may want to consider putting a few bottles in the carry-on bag for each member of your travel party to help distribute the weight. If you have an early Port Arrival Time, your stateroom may not be ready to enter as soon as you board the ship. Be prepared to keep your bags with you for up to an hour before you can bring them to your stateroom.
If you'd like to make a splash soon after you step onto the ship, pack your suitcase in your carry-on bag too. And please kindly remember to keep your important travel documents with you in your carry-on luggage as well as any medication or valuables. If you'd like a handy packing checklist,
Disney Cruise Line provides one here.
If you don't want to bother with packing your own water, you may pre-order water bottles to be delivered to your stateroom on the
Onboard Gifts and Amenities page of the Disney Cruise Line website. Alternatively, you may prefer to pack some reusable water bottles and keep them filled by visiting the
beverage stations on the ship. You'll find these on Deck 9 of the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, and Deck 11 of the Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, or Disney Wish. There are also water bottle refilling stations along the Promenade Deck (Deck 4).
Jonathon, I hope you have an incredible vacation and that as you prepare to set sail you will cruise back to us with more questions. My pals and I would be more than happy to help!
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
