Hi, Carrie!
Each guest entering a Disney theme park must have a valid (full price)
ticket. The good news is that there is so much to enjoy at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park that goes beyond the rides.
From the moment you step into one of the theme parks, the magic begins. The music, the beautiful décor, and the fun will surround you. Take time to stroll through the shops or enjoy a dessert while watching a parade. It is so fun to be walking down a path and see Pluto or Chip and Dale just waiting to for you for a special picture. You just never know what or who you might see around the next turn.
You can also enjoy the entertainment such as
Fantasmic! or
World of Color. There are also the little touches of magic, such as the neon turned on at dusk at
Cars Land. What a feeling to walk into Radiator Springs on Route 66!
Since you do not plan on the attractions, you will have plenty of time for dining. Make a reservation at the
Blue Bayou Restaurant, one of my favorite dining locations. I love relaxing at dinner here at the boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride sail right past. Only in Disney!
Enjoy your time, and maybe take a spin on a few rides like the
Disneyland Railroad or it's a small world. You never know, you might find you enjoy the attractions after all!
