Hi Nicola and welcome to planDisney.
How exciting that you'll be visiting
Walt Disney World in just a couple of months time. My family will be visiting not long after you and are already excitedly counting down the days until we arrive at "The Most Magical Place on Earth."
I'm not sure of the exact dates of your stay but, did you see the recent post on the Disney Parks Blog titled
Everything We Know About 'Disney Starlight'?" I literally cannot wait to see this brand new nighttime parade which will be debuting at Magic Kingdom Park on 20th July 2025.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is inspired by the Main Street Electrical Parade and looks nothing short of amazing!
Right, going back to your question, let's see if we can get to the bottom of the problem you're having with linking your MagicBand.
First of all, I would suggest double-checking that you have followed these steps to link your MagicBand to your MyDisney account:-
Step 1: Power on your MagicBand+ by pressing the button on the back, in the lower right corner.
Step 2: Tap your band to the back of your smart device. Or, go directly to the “Link to Account” section in the My Disney Experience mobile app to get started.
Step 3: Follow the instructions in the app to link to an account and pair with your device.
Step 4: Be sure to link your park tickets, reservations and more.
If you have tried to do this but are still unable to link it, I would highly recommend
calling Website and Technical Support to see if they are able to resolve the issue for you. The Cast Members are super helpful and have never failed to sort out any technical issues I have encountered in the past.
I hope that this information has been of help and that you're able to get your MagicBand linked up to your MyDisney account without encountering any further issues.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
