Is there any pass that is for a family with kids and stuff?

    Greetings and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question! Will you and your family be visiting the Disneyland Resort at some point in the future? If you're budgeting for the trip, I can understand wanting to make your money go as far as possible. I'd be happy to offer some ideas on how to stretch that dollar. After all, Scrooge McDuck didn't get to where he is by needlessly spending!

Although there is no family group pass available, I would recommend studying the Offers and Discounts page to see if anything might apply to you. Disney will often post various offers throughout the year so check back regularly. Theme Park Tickets are readily available on the Disneyland website but discounts on tickets and/or Vacation Packages may often be found on big box store sites or your local automobile association. If you opt for a One Day Ticket, be aware of the Tier System and the difference in cost. And if you decide that you want Genie+, it makes sense to purchase it along with your tickets to lock in the price.

I've known several Guests who have purchased nearly their entire vacation with Disney Gift Cards. There will occasionally be sales on Disney Gift Cards at various outlets that will allow you to purchase multiple cards. This could potentially save you a lot of money on your vacation!

You are allowed to bring food through the security checkpoints, so consider packing in all your snacks and perhaps even a full meal. Have a budget set aside for food on your trip and splurge for the items that you and your family really must have (study the Disney Parks Blog Disney Eats page to see if there are any Foodie Guides for your visit).

Water can be a big part of the budget and it's important to stay hydrated. You can save on this by bringing your own refillable water bottle into the Parks and using the many convenient Water Bottle Filling Stations throughout the day to keep it full.

When will you and your family be visiting? The Disneyland Resort has released a handy Calendar of Events for 2024 so you can know what to expect during your visit. There's so much happening this year and I don't think there's ever a bad time to go!

I hope that was helpful information for you and I wish you a truly magical trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact us again because you're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to hear from you. Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
