Is there a pass for dining and fireworks at Epcot. Not wanting a day pass as we are 4 seniors just interested in dining and a view. TIA Gord

Hi there, Gord, and welcome to planDisney!

I can name very few things in life that make me happier than spending a relaxing evening with family and friends and taking in the view of a Disney Parks fireworks show. In fact, last year, some planDisney panelists and I took a beautiful (and private) Fireworks Cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon that had the most perfect view of the fireworks over Cinderella Castle (Magic Kingdom Park). I could do that again and again.

At this moment, there aren’t any special passes that provide a partial day at the theme parks, including EPCOT. However, let’s take a look at some of the options that you have to view Luminous: The Symphony of Us outside of the theme parks. One of my favorite dining experiences at Walt Disney World is at Topolino’s Terrace: Flavors of the Riviera (at Disney’s Riviera Resort). The flavors of French and Italian cuisines are some of the BEST that you’ll have on Walt Disney World property. I often daydream of the menu (both the character dining breakfast and the delicious dinner fare). The coolest part about nighttime dining there? Disney pipes in the music from the EPCOT fireworks show onto the restaurant’s balcony. It is pure magic.

You can also see the fireworks from atop the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Resort at the restaurant and lounge that are there. You could eat a meal at a Disney’s BoardWalk hotel restaurant and then find a spot on a bridge near the EPCOT International Gateway and see the fireworks show from there, too. Both of these options won’t have music piped in.

AN EXTRA GEM: If you decide to buy EPCOT theme park tickets (with or without a Park Hopper Option), you can purchase these on the Walt Disney World website. If you find tickets elsewhere, use the online linking tool to make sure your tickets are linked to your MyDisney account.

Gord, I hope that you’ve found this helpful. If you or your friends have any other questions, please give us a holler here at planDisney. We are more than happy to share our tips and tricks about how to maximize your visit.

    Magic always,
