We are a party of 11 with 6, 10,10, 14 & 18 year old. With 6 adults. Can you recommend some resturant to eat at?  Also, can you make suggestions for our week of planning. What is this pin trading?

    Hi Beth!
Traveling with a large group can be a lot of fun, but it can also take a lot of planning! Luckily, you have come to the right place because the Disney Parks Moms Panel loves to make vacation dreams come true.

Walt Disney World Resort has hundreds of great dining options. The first question is, "Quick Service or Table Service?" Quick Service meals are ordered at a counter and do not typically involve a server, while Table Service venues are full-service dining experiences. Each Park and Resort has a large array of Quick Service options and you will have no trouble finding something to meet everyone's needs. Table Service selection is a bit more complicated as you will need to make dining reservations to ensure a table is available. The easiest way to do this at this point is to go to the Disney Dining Reservation site and enter the date and time you would like to find an available dining location.  This will provide you with all locations that have availability for your party. One of my family's favorites that can handle large groups well is Biergarten Restaurant in Epcot. It combines great food with great entertainment.

As far as overall planning, I recommend you pick up a copy of "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" or look into a subscription at touringplans.com.  These are my favorite resources when setting up a plan for the entire trip.

While my family does not engage in Pin Trading, it is a beloved activity for many visitors to the Parks.  Some basic guidelines can be found here
