We are a party of 7, I was wondering if I have to purchase a magic band for all or will I be ok with 1 for all of us . We are all linked on my account

Hi Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You have such a fun trip ahead of you with your large group! I am smiling as I think of all the special memories you will make together at the Walt Disney World Resort. As soon as you see the theme parks decorated for Christmas, you will be so happy that you chose to vacation during the holiday season. It is the most wonderful time of the year after all!

MagicBands make getting around the Walt Disney World Resort super convenient! They can be attached to your My Disney Experience account to link tickets, FastPass+, and PhotoPass pictures. When linked appropriately, you simply scan your MagicBand when entering the theme parks and FastPass+ queues, and you can even get ride photos and videos from attractions that use MagicBand technology to auto-magically link media to your account. However, each MagicBand is unique to one user and cannot be shared with multiple tickets and/or accounts. You can certainly choose to purchase a MagicBand for each member of your party, but even if you don't, you can still use your actual Walt Disney World theme park tickets (cards) for entering the theme park, FastPass+, and capturing PhotoPass photos from photographers. MagicBands are very helpful, but not required!

I hope this helps with your planning, Jessica! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
