    We have party of 11 for our WDW trip. Do all linked party members go under one credit card to pay for Genie+, lightning lanes, & individual attraction selections? Or is it the credit cards linked to individual reservations?

    Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your really great question! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting close, can you feel the magic?

    When it comes to Disney Genie+ Service and Individual Lightning Lane reservations, as long as everyone (and their tickets) are linked in one My Disney Experience account, you should be able to purchase either Service under one credit card. 

    This is how the process works: beginning at 12:00 a.m. on the day you want Disney Genie+, you’re able to purchase the Service for all your family members. At 7:00 a.m., you’ll be able to select your first Disney Genie+ selection for the family. If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel (and a few select others), you’ll be able to select your Individual Lightning Lane attractions at 7:00 a.m. as well. If you aren’t on property, Hakuna Matata, you can still make your first Genie+ selection at 7:00 a.m. and your Individual Lightning Lane selection when the Theme Parks open. 

    For either Service, after you make your selection, you’ll go through the purchasing process by choosing the members of your party and choosing your method of payment. One of the cool things about the app is that as long as everyone’s tickets are linked to the app, your entire party that has valid tickets (and Disney Park Passes) for that day will be automatically selected for that Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lane selection. This makes the purchase process really easy! You can use the card you have on file in your account or even choose Apple Pay (for Apple Devices).

    The key to all of this is making sure all tickets for your entire party are in one account or that they are all linked to the person’s account who will be making the Lightning Lane purchases. If you have questions about the linking process or want to confirm it’s set up correctly, you can always connect with the My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ help desk.
