We have a party of 11 and I am wanting to link tickets all onto one account for easy use at Disney Genie+. How do I do that?

    Hi ya, Kaitlyn!

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're the "leader of the club" when it comes to Disney fun! I usually fill that role for my family as well, so I'm happy to help you get ready to guide a large party through the parks.

Linking additional tickets to your Disney account can be done online through your "My Disneyland" page. Just hover your mouse over "My Disneyland" in the top menu and in the menu that appears click on "Link Tickets" to add each ticket. You'll need to enter the ID number for each ticket, and you can do them in batches of five tickets at a time.

The second way to add tickets is through the Disneyland Mobile App. In the app tap on the "≡" icon to open the main menu, then tap on the "Tickets and Passes" box. To add another ticket you will need to tap on the "+" in the top right corner and select "Link Tickets & Passes" to open the link screen. The easiest way to add a ticket to your account is to use your mobile device's camera to scan the barcode of the ticket. This works on physical tickets or if you're scanning the barcode of a ticket on another mobile device! You can also select "Type ID" to enter the ID number.

There isn't an official maximum number of tickets that you can link to one device, but it is possible that the system might get overwhelmed with a party your size. If you aren't able to add every ticket to your account then I recommend splitting your group into two smaller parties. You'll want to try to select Disney Genie+ return times at the same time to keep your group together, but it's usually not too hard to have them be within 5-10 minutes of each other. I often have to use this method when we travel with our extended family, it can definitely be done! Hopefully the system lets all 11 of your Mouseketeers link up without a problem.

I know when I visit with big parties it helps to have some good "sidekick" planners who can help out with things like mobile ordering and gathering attraction photo codes to link to our Disney accounts. Don't forget that Disney Genie+ includes unlimited digital downloads of all your attraction photos and Disney PhotoPass images! I'm always so grateful that Disney PhotoPass Photographers are there to make sure our whole group gets into the photos, they are some of my very favorite souvenirs from each visit.

Kaitlyn, don't forget to visit Mickey's Toontown to say "Hi ya, Pal!" to Mickey himself! Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is a great ride for large parties to enjoy together, and I notice something new every single time I ride it. Have a wonderful day in the parks!

    Keep moving forward!
