Hi. We are a party of 3 and wanted to get fastpasses for all of us. If one of our family member doesn’t want to ride (b/c of a disability) can someone else in the party use the FastPass? Do we need their magic band or barcode to scan?

    Hi Dulcelita,

Taking advantage of FastPass+ is one of the best ways to make the most of your time at the Walt Disney World Resort!  Luckily, if one person in your party decides to not take part in a certain FastPass+ experience, that is ok!  They can just wait for you while you experience the attraction.  In the past, when I have decided to wait for my husband to experience some of the more thrilling attractions, I have always enjoyed checking out all of the great shops (and sometimes even some of the scrumptious snacks) while I wait!  Time you enjoy wasting is never wasted!

When it is time to use a FastPass+ selection, each member of your party that would like to experience the attraction will need to bring their MagicBand or Card with them to the entrance of the FastPass+ queue where a Cast Member will have them scan it.  They will then be able to enter the attraction.  Unfortunately, because MagicBands and Cards are nontransferable, they must be used by the same individual for the duration of the ticket.  This includes the FastPass+ selections associated with that MagicBand or Card.

Make sure you check out all of the services provided for Guests with disabilities!  The Walt Disney World Resort wants everyone to have a perfectly magical vacation, so they will do everything they can to make that happen for all of you!  If you have any questions, feel free to ask any Cast Member.  They will be happy to assist you!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
