We have a party van size vehicle to carry everyone. Where will we have to park?

Hey there, Tela, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! Your Walt Disney World Vacation is quickly approaching, and it sounds like you are bringing along tons of friends to experience the fun! Planning for a large vacation party can require a little more coordination, but it’s sure to deliver much more fun!

Tela, the fantastic news is that Walt Disney World seems to have thought of everything! Each Theme Park offers oversized parking for Guests arriving in certain vehicle classes. The simple answer to your question is: it depends! Doesn’t it seem like that’s the answer to so many adult questions? If you all arrive “party bus” style, you will have to park in the oversized parking locations. Admittedly, I am unsure of the exact locations of these reserved spots. However, the parking lot Cast Member will direct you to the appropriate location. However, if you all arrive in a 15-passenger van your parking location will depend on the discretion of the parking lot Cast Member and the parking availability in the lot. Walt Disney World’s parking page specifically states that shuttles, limos, Camper Trailers, RVs, Buses, and Tractor Trailers are required to use the oversized parking area. A 15-passenger van is not explicitly identified and falls within the gray area. The fantastic news is that I’ve seen many 15-passenger vans in the standard parking lot as I arrived at the Theme Park.

I hope this helps, Tela! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
