Can a party of 6 use two different charges on the meal plan?

    Hi, Elaine!

The servers in Walt Disney World restaurants are ready for anything! When you are seated, you will be asked if you are on the Disney Dining Plan. At this time, you can decide how you want the final check divided so each family can use their own Disney Dining Plan credits.

When you each get your check, your Disney Dining Plan credits will be deducted and your remaining balance will be shown. Remember gratuity is not included so you will need to pay that by cash, credit, Disney Gift Card, or charge back to your room. Parties of 6 or more will have an 18% auto-gratuity added. (Please note: gratuity is included at dinner shows and Cinderella's Royal table)

Although you will be splitting the check, make just one dining reservation for your entire party. This will ensure you are all seated together. Dining reservations can be made online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE up to 180 days in advance.

There are so many amazing restaurants to choose from, so I hope you find the perfect dining locations for your party. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
