Party of 4 traveling from 3 different states. Flights get in @ 8:30am, 9:13am, & 11:24am. Waiting 4 each other to ride DME together. Should we all still use the yellow luggage tags or should those on the earlier flights collect our own bags & then

    Hi Sara,

How fun to be planning a Disney World getaway with your friends. I am actually counting down the last few weeks before heading down with a number of my closest friends and I can't wait. We are coming from all over the states (and even Canada) too.

You and your friends can actually do whatever works best for you. If you tag your luggage with the yellow Magical Express tickets, the employees at the airport baggage area will automatically pull the bags once that plane lands. The bags will be scanned into the system and matched to the appropriate Disney resort destination, then loaded onto on truck for delivery. Even if you wait at the airport for friends to arrive, the bags will still be processed and delivered. It often takes a few hours for the bags to arrive at the resort anyway, so you may even all be there once the luggage arrives to your hotel.

Personally I prefer not having to deal with my luggage. I would much rather let the Magical Express employees handle the transfer of my bags from the airport to the resort. If you are in a hurry for something in your luggage, or simply prefer to know your bag is with you, then I would skip the yellow tags and plan on grabbing the luggage from the airport yourself.

Wishing you all an amazing time!
