Welcome to planDisney, Lyndsey!
Oh Boy! Your trip is just days away. Are you packed? Are you ready? Are you excited? I apologize for all the questions, but I’m so excited for you, so naturally, I want to hear all about your plans. Throw some rain gear in your bag now if you haven’t already. While Florida summers are hot, you can expect a shower of rain at least once during your visit. Which is my family’s favorite time to grab a snack or do some shopping.
To share your family members' tickets, you’ll want to ensure that you are all connected in your
My Disney Experience account. You can start by adding them to your
Family & Friends list. Keep in mind that they will also need their own My Disney Experience account to manage their own plans. Once they have been added to your Family & Friends list, you can
reassign the tickets that you purchased to the other members in your party. After each individual has gained access to their own ticket, they can then download a digital ticket to store in their mobile wallet using
Disney MagicMobile.
To use Disney MagicMobile, each member of your party will open up their My Disney Experience app and click on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up a different screen where everyone will scroll down until they see the heading “Account”. Directly below that heading, you’ll click on the subheading titled “Set Up MagicMobile Entry”. From there, each member will be able to use their ticket to create their pass.
As the ticket holder, you have the option to follow the steps mentioned above to create Mobile Passes for those Guests you manage. For example, I manage my little ones, so I created their passes. After creating their passes, I saw that I had the option to share their pass with someone else. To do this, you'll follow the same steps above, only this time, click on “Select Passes to Share” to prompt your phone to create a message with the passes. This will prompt a “text message” to be created so that you can share the created passes with someone else. In my case, I sent them over to my husband. This is a great option for the younger members of your party or those without a My Disney Experience account.
Lyndsey, I hope this helps you navigate your digital plans. If you get stuck or have any other questions, please visit us again. You can also stop by any Guest Relations location once you arrive, so that a Cast Member can help you in person. Just have everyone in your party with you to make the sharing a little easier.
Have a great visit and see ya real soon!
