Hello Micah!
Welcome party of three! Your first visit to
Walt Disney World must have you feeling as excited as Cinderella at the ball! Your five year old will be so enraptured by flying with Peter Pan, spinning in tea cups, seeing princesses, and enjoying all the Mickey shaped food.
Babies are welcome to ride in your lap on any height rides- attractions open to all Guests with no height restrictions. Jungle Cruise, "it's a small world," Pirates of the Caribbean, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and many more allow little ones on your lap. Your five year old will be able to sit next to you. More thrilling attractions that have a minimum height requirement, Space Mountain for example, obviously are not available for infants and toddlers to ride. Check out the
Height Requirement page to see the dozens of attractions appropriate for your family to enjoy in the
four theme parks.
Planning your first trip is so rewarding, but can be overwhelming at times. Don't forget to make your
Disney Park Pass Reservations; admission and a reservation are required to enter a theme park.
Dining reservations open up 60 days in advance. If there is a character meal or table service location you want to try, I suggest you are on your laptop at 6:00 am to snag the day and time you prefer. If you have any more questions, please come back to
planDisney.
Wishing your party of three a wonderful adventure when you visit Mickey!
