Hi Scott,
You are definitely in for a treat with an upcoming stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort. With its tropical and relaxed vibe, pretty pastel colors, and gorgeous landscaping, this wonderful Resort is one of my favorites.
Scott, if you are adding the
Disney Dining Plan to your Resort reservation, you will be required to purchase the package for all guests in your room for the entire duration of your stay. This applies even if one of the guests on your Resort reservation will only be staying for 7 out of 9 nights.
As dining credits for all guests for your entire length of stay are able to be used at any time after check in, you do have some flexibility. If you purchased the Quick-Service Dining Plan (which provides two quick-service meal credits a day per person), or the Disney Dining Plan (which provides one counter service meal credit and one table service credit a day per person), you could use the extra credits for a third meal on some days.
Alternatively, if you purchased the Disney Dining Plan or Deluxe Dining Plan (which provides three meal credits per person per day), you may wish to indulge in a
signature dining experience, or perhaps take in a dinner show (I highly recommend the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue). All of these experiences require two meal credits per person.
Scott, I hope this information provides you with some "food for thought" as you consider your dining options for your upcoming vacation. Should you have any other questions, please let us know. We are here to help!
Bon Appétit!
Trish
