    We are a party of 16 staying off-site. We plan on doing a character breakfast @ Chef Mickeys and one dinner @ Ohanas together. When making the reservation can I get one table or should I ask for three different tables when I call?

    Hi Heather!  Our family reunions also numbered sixteen persons so I can appreciate your dilemma with seating.  Very few locations have tables large enough for all sixteen to sit together.  We often were split into two or even three separate tables but they were always close to each other.  When calling to make reservations for these two very popular locations do not waste time on the seating arrangements or you might miss out altogether.  Tell the cast member how many persons you need and let her give you the options.

    One of the fun things we used to do with our large family group was to have name tags and when we arrived at a restaurant we would be told how many tables we had for our reservation.  So the same people were not always sitting next to each other we would then draw eight names for the first table and then the other eight would sit together at the next one.  Obviously if small children were involved they would automatically sit with their parents.  It was fun to visit and share stories with someone new at each meal and this way no-one was ever feeling left out when others raced to get their seats!
