Hello Anna! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with an excellent question.
I am so excited to hear that you will get to enjoy the
World’s Most Magical Celebration very soon. Don’t forget to sample all the delectable treats on the 5
0th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide.
I would be happy to guide you on what is best for your party of 14 to access your theme park tickets, Genie+, and Lightning Lane selections, add PhotoPass photos and charge food and merchandise back to your room. You will not need to purchase MagicBands for your entire family if you use the Disney MagicMobile Service. Disney MagicMobile can be used by anyone who has an iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android device that uses Google Pay.
You can set up
Disney MobileMagic using your My Disney Experience mobile app and link your passes to your wallet using an iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android device using Google Pay. I would recommend that a member of each household upload the admission tickets for everyone on their reservation to their device wallet. This will allow anyone with a smartphone to use it for access instead of a MagicBand. You can just scan everyone’s MagicMobile pass at the main entrance turnstiles.
However, you may want one or two people in your group to have a MagicBand as a backup. You can purchase pre-arrival discounted MagicBands in My Disney Experience under the “
My MagicBands and Cards” tab. I would recommend ordering them for anyone who cannot connect to Disney MagicMobile. You can also purchase them online at
shopDisney.com or just wait until you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. MagicBands are for sale at all Disney Resorts Collection hotels, theme parks, and select retailers at Disney Springs.
This will keep you from having to stand in line at Will Call to receive an admission card. I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
