I have a party of 5 staying at Disney this Sept. Me,DH, Son(5) and Daughter(3) & my Dad. We are torn between All-Star Music Family Suite or Port Orleans Alligator room w/ trundle. PO is actually cheaper, but how do the two compare? Thanks!

Both would work for your party, Felicia, though there are some differences.  Most notable is probably the space.  While the All-Star family suite will afford your family two full bathrooms, a separate bedroom, and a kitchenette, Port Orleans Riverside standard rooms offer significantly less.  Port Orleans rooms offer a small trundle (large enough for a young child) and a refrigerator.  There is no separate sleeping space and you'll only have one bathroom.  The perks of a stay at Port Orleans Riverside lie in the amenities the resort as a whole offers.  Port Orleans Riverside offers a table-service restaurant, where as the All-Stars offer only a food court.  So, too, do the moderate resorts (like Port Orleans Riverside) offer additional recreational opportunities and detailed theming.  Hopefully, that insight will help you to reach a decision as to the best resort home for your family!
