Hi Tim,
Welcome to planDisney!
Let's celebrate your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort! It sounds like you may have date-based tickets. If so, you should not need to make theme park reservations. Check your tickets and review these
guidelines for Tickets that Require a Theme Park Reservation. If you are unsure about the type of tickets you have, feel free to
contact a cast member in Existing Tickets. They should be able to verify if your tickets are date-based.
I also suggest that you check the
park hours for the dates of your visit and make your plans accordingly. We like to strategize to maximize our time in the parks, especially if we have plans to go back to the resort and enjoy the pool or resort activities on certain days. Also be sure you have some advanced dining reservations. My family loves to enjoy a few dining locations at our resort hotel. At Disney's Riviera Resort, for example, we love breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera.
Also, as you make plans, be sure to check the fireworks times for Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. We always make time to watch the fireworks shows and start to find our viewing spot at least an hour before the show.
Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom and
Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT are both stunning shows that always remind me of the magical possibilities that can shape our lives.
Tim, I hope you are able to see which type of theme park admission you have! Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of our favorite resort hotels. If you have not yet considered an
advanced dining reservation at California Grill, I highly recommend that you make one that will overlap with the time for the Happily Ever After fireworks. On your arrival date, it looks like the Happily Ever After fireworks are scheduled for 9:20 p.m. If you make a reservation for dinner at
California Grill, I would make that reservation for about 8:30 p.m. The views from the restaurant are simply spectacular!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
