Our party size travelling in Aug is 11 with DDP. We've already booked the Cinderellas Royal Table and I've made 3 separate bookings to avoid the 18% auto tip. Is there a better way of doing this? I think I should be the one to decide how much tip is given.

As far as I know, Robert, there isn't another way to avoid the automatic 18% gratuity for a party of eleven.  Disney has certain criteria as to when an automatic gratuity is charged and, as you know, parties of six or more are subject to it.  If you are adamant about not paying the automatic 18%, you've come up with an efficient method of avoiding it.  That said, it is highly likely that you will be split up and sat at three different tables for your meal.  Either way, you're in for a treat; dining  at Cinderella's Royal Table is an indulgence of the most regal variety.  Enjoy!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
