Hello. I have a party size of 8, 4 adults and 4 children. (b)6 (b)4 (g)3 (b)2 Trying to find the best place to make a dinner reservation on Dec.14th any suggestions would be really great! Thank you!

    Hi, Jessica!

When we have little ones in our party, we head to buffets for our meals, such as The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, or Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort (just a quick walk or monorail ride away from MK.) The beauty of these restaurants is that, once you are seated and your server has taken your drink order, you are free to get your food. Little wait time when little tummies are hungry is a  wonderful thing. In addition, we love that the kids can take a look at all of the food in the buffet, and are welcome to try anything that looks tasty. Both of these restaurants include Character Dining, too, which is always fun when the little ones are there.

For something a little different, my family loves Teppan Edo as well, located in Epcot's Japan Pavilion. Chefs cook dishes right at your table, which is very entertaining for one and all. As long as you are comfortable with keeping the littlest diners seated (the cooking surfaces in the center of the tables are extremely hot), this might be fun place for the family to dine.

Another unique dining experience can be found at Sanaa, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village. You could spend a morning at Disney's Animal Kingdom, then take the bus (a 5-minute ride) to Kidani Village, where your family can view animals on Sunset Savanna's Overlook before dining right beside the Savanna. While the menu is more exotic, kids entrees include grilled fish, grilled chicken, veggie ranch pizza and a turkey sloppy Joe.

Finally, we love T-REX, which is at Downtown Disney's Marketplace. With great food, really cool dino-themed decor and the hands-on Paleo Zone, your whole family will enjoy an afternoon or evening here, too.

Send more questions as you think of them, Jessica; there are so many additional locations where your young family will have a wonderful time. I'd love to help you pick the perfect one!
