Welcome to planDisney, Roe! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.
Disability Access Service (DAS) has evolved recently to allow guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment the ability to
pre-register up to 30 days in advance of their trip to Walt Disney World Resort. This is a great way to save time on your vacation and make sure that everything is in place to accommodate your family's needs before you arrive. It is possible to
make selections in advance for up to two attraction return times for each day of your trip, and that is done during the initial video chat with the Cast Member who is registering you for DAS. If you ended your conversation without making your pre-selections, you can hop back on the chat service and let someone know that you have been approved for registration but did not make any advanced selections.
Once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort and use your ticket to enter a Theme Park, a DAS tool will pop up in the main menu of your
My Disney Experience app, and you will be able to select attraction return times quickly and easily using your smartphone. I often travel with someone in my family who uses DAS, and the introduction of this digital tool has really simplified our vacations!
I hope this answers your question, Roe, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical trip.
