A party of 4 is sharing 2 rooms on property and considering dining options for a 2-day visit. Can they select Quick Service plan for one day and the full Disney Dining Plan for the other?

    Hello there!

When planning your Disney dining experience, it’s great that you’re considering both the Quick-Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan, as each of these dining plans offers unique perks depending on how you want to enjoy your meals.

The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is perfect for guests who prefer a more casual, on-the-go dining experience. With this plan, you'll have access to a variety of quick-service locations throughout the parks and resorts, allowing you to grab meals like burgers, sandwiches, or salads without the need for reservations. It's convenient and offers flexibility, especially if you’re looking to maximize your time on rides and attractions. You can even take advantage of Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering at many locations and that tends to save a lot of time!

On the other hand, the Disney Dining Plan offers a more robust dining experience. This plan includes a mix of quick-service meals, table-service meals, and snacks, allowing you to enjoy more diverse dining options. You can sit down for character dining, try out some signature restaurants, or even enjoy buffets. This plan is ideal if you want to experience some of Disney’s more unique dining offerings.

For your specific situation, if you have one reservation that covers the entire length of your 2-day visit, you'll need to select either the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan for your entire stay. Unfortunately, you can't mix and match the plans day by day under a single reservation.

However, if you have two separate reservations, you can choose one plan for the first night of your stay and the other for the second night. This would allow you to enjoy the convenience of quick-service dining on one day and then treat yourselves the next. If I had to choose, I would splurge for the Disney Dining Plan. I think it's a great way to have the best of both worlds and your sit-down meals could be breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

    Enjoy your Disney dining adventure!
